Co-creating urban spaces with care home residents and community dwelling older adults to improve movement behaviour and reduce social isolation
EngAGE4Change is a doctoral research project that seeks to build on the
active aging framework using a co-creation approach in urban
transformation processes with older adults. The project focuses on the
population over 65 y/o in the Dreta de l’Eixample, Barcelona.
The co-creation process is aimed at designing community spaces to
improve movement behaviour, encourage social interaction, and reduce
the risk of loneliness and isolation in this population group with the
involvement of several stakeholders
