Collaboratively Selecting and Defining the Criteria for Evaluating Co-Creation Methods

Our PhD fellow, Danielle Agnello, led the Health CASCADE’s co-creation researchers in addressing the challenge of whether co-creation methods were successful. In two participatory sessions, the team aimed to answer the pivotal questions of method suitability and success. This collaborative effort will birth evidence-based evaluation criteria for co-creation methods. The outcomes will represent shared insights and collective expertise. In 2024, they will undergo field testing in the CHILD-COOP project in Denmark (https://academic.oup.com/eurpub/article/32/Supplement_2/ckac093.013/6677861), and then integrated into Giuliana Longworth’s dimensions and components of process evaluation, to create Health CASCADE’s Evaluation Framework.

Stay tuned for the unveiling of tested and validated co-creation methods in the coming year! Together, let’s pave the way for transparency about how methods impact the co-creation process.
