Apprevent
The Apprevent startup company is an interdisciplinary team consisting of developers, physicians, health scientists and business people. The company develops digital mobile health applications.
Besides developing digital therapeutics (DTx), we prove their effectiveness through scientific studies together with, e.g., Jacobs University Bremen. With all of our work, we meet a very high standard of data protection and -security and translate the tools into medical devices. Additionally, the Apprevent team develops digital prevention apps and is looking forward to new projects in the field of digital health.

Dr. Jan Homoth
After studying human medicine in Rostock and Berlin, Dr. Homoth completed his residency in otolaryngology at the Ernst von Bergmann Clinic in Potsdam under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Jungehülsing and at the Bremen-Mitte Clinic under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Chilla. At the same time, he completed his doctorate on the topic of "Investigation of tasting disorders and recovery of tasting function after middle ear surgery". In 2014, Dr. Homoth founded the medical check-up center "Medeno" where more than a thousand preventive examinations are performed annually and suggestions for action are made. As co-founder and managing director of apprevent GmbH, he is also dedicated to the development, market launch and continuous operation of scalable, innovative digital health technologies.
