Amsterdam UMC represents one of the 7 unique University Medical Centers in the Netherlands, where teaching, research and patient care are fully integrated in one organisation. The research priorities of Amsterdam UMC are organised in 8 large and world-class interfaculty research institutes. In these institutes, researchers from different disciplines, closely collaborate to establish a truly applied, translational research programme that addresses current challenges in society.
The research group “Child and Adolescent Public Health” lies within the Department of Public and Occupational Health, and has an excellent, international track record in high-quality research on child health, determinants, measurement and analysis of movement behaviours, and development and evaluation of interventions, including co-creation and participatory action research.
