Congratulations to Quentin Loisel on passing his PhD Viva!

Congratulations to Quentin Loisel who passed his PhD Viva with minor corrections on Thursday 11th September at Glasgow Caledonian University!

Quentin’s PhD thesis, titled “Digital Technology for Co-Creation: Enabling Participatory Systems and Collective Intelligence in Public Health,” was supervised by Dr Sebastien Chastin.

Many thanks to external examiner Professor Niccolo Pescetelli (London Interdisciplinary School ) and internal examiner Dr Zoë Tieges and to Dr David Hamilton for chairing.

Quentin has already made significant contributions to the field of co-creation, specifically exploring how Artificial Intelligence, particularly multimodal large language models (LLMs), impact knowledge creation and how we can make better science. He has published peer-reviewed journal articles from his PhD, he’s the Chair of the UK Chapter Chair of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) and founded the General Interest Group on AI for the MCAA.

Quentin is representing Health Cascade at Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Falling Walls Competition and will soon embark on the next stage of his career as a researcher at Stanford University.

Congratulations again, Quentin!
